plex autoscan / similar solutions

Right now I have quite a large library mounted via rclone, which inotify doesn't work with. Because of this the only way to add new content is by triggering a full library scan, but this takes 8 - 12 hours.

Has anyone been able to get something like plex autoscan working with emby, so that google drive monitoring could be used so items could be added without a full library scan?

It doesn't seem like it would be too tough, but the main issue I can see now is that I can't figure out a way to scan of an individual directory via the Emby API. For example, I have media sorted like <Movies>/<Title of Movie>/moviefile, but if you want to add a new movie Emby will just scan the whole <Movies> directory which takes forever. Is there anyway to have Emby scan just the directory <Title of Movie>, so that a full library scan isn't triggered?
