playback freezes on LG Smart TV

Using Emby Theater 1.0.24 on a LG WebOS TV (WebOS updated just a few days ago), while playing back a 720p H.264 MKV file, the playback freezes within a second of starting, then about a minute later it starts again for 1-2 seconds, then stops for another minute or two, then again continues for 1-2sec, and so on.

 

I've seen it twice on two different files.

 

Emby Server runs on Wndows 7, the connection is wired Ethernet, and there is no packet loss according to ping with 50 packets sent.

 

Please advise.

I'll have to put a...... freeze on this ticket, after a restart of the network switch the playback is normal.... Looks like I posted too soon.
