Episodes will not resume

Episodes have not been resuming for a while now. I can start an episode from the beginning and scroll to the position where it should have resumed fine, but when I try to resume an episode it just hangs forever.

 

I'm currently running v 4.3.1 as that's the latest that is available for freebsd (as far as I can tell).
