Random audio playback

Has anybody else seen this, I've seen it quite a few times and so has my daughter. (Nvidia shields)

 

Occasionally, I can be in a menu and audio playback of a movie will start, I don't know if I'm brushing a key or something, but the video does not start, I remain in the menus.

 

Furthermore, if I leave emby, playback of the audio continues while I'm inside the android menus, the only way to stop it is to force quit emby.

anywhere inside emby, navigating through movies, being in settings etc.

 

as i also said exiting emby it continues to play audio, if you play another movies you get the new movie along side the random audio.

 

only way to stop it is to force quit emby.

No, and it's not playing a theme song, it's playing the audio from the movie.

Same here with a Xiaomi Mi Box S + Emby Server 4.5.0.6 + Emby Cliente Android TV 1.7.99g

 

 

It happens to me with any movie, if I start the movie and go back to the menu, the movie keeps playing in the background. I have tried to stop it from the administration panel but it does not respond to the stop action. To stop it I must force the closing of the Emby application on Android TV.

If you disable the theme songs feature in the app, does that help?

That's a little different than what fizzy reported as he said things start all by themselves just when browsing.

 

We've seen another report of items continuing to try to play when exiting them - specifically on the Mi and we are investigating that.
