Odd behaviour when converting video media replacing original files

Decided to convert a few episodes stored as .mkv using the settings:

-original media folder, replacing original files

-mobile

-original quality

During the conversion of each file (I queued each one individually using the same settings); the conversions page showed the progress of the current conversion as 'Transferring 0.3%' (from 0.1‰ up to 0.3%) until completed, then it would say 'downloaded' (page must be refreshed to get that to update in any way).

At that point I go to play the episode just after the conversion finishes and the player opens but just sits at the loading wheel never starting or throwing an error to the client.

If you view the converted episodes details, it still shows the old mkv that emby itself removed.

Give it long enough for the file system monitor to trigger a scan, or manually trigger a scan and that gets updated to the new mp4 file and becomes playable again.

Once that scan is done and emby recognizes the old files are gone and new ones are there, go back to the conversions page and now everything that had said '1 file' and 'downloaded' now says '0 files' and 'failed'.

It's functional, but during the process it gives you little clue as to the actual progress, then once all said and done, the new media's ready to play, the old media's gone; it tells you it failed...

Thanks, yes the whole flow there needs to be improved to make it more obvious.
