Rob McChesney 1 Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Just happens on one computer, is there any way to reset this so I can see my media libraries stacked instead of having to scroll to the right?
Luke 42077 Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 HI, what is the resolution? This is what we do at smaller sizes.
Rob McChesney 1 Posted April 19, 2020 Author Posted April 19, 2020 Hi, 1920x1080 (scaled 125%) I'm also running DisplayFusion if that makes a difference. 1
sulaco1971 0 Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Hi. Same problem on chrome, 100% zoom 1920x1080 resolution, PC (or Auto) on display mode settings. The visualization appear like mobile version. Sorry for bad english!
Rob McChesney 1 Posted April 23, 2020 Author Posted April 23, 2020 Ok, I changed my resolution to 1600x900 and set the scaling back to 100% and home page media libraries are stacked again. Thanks!
Statick 15 Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 necro-ing this thread because I'm having this issue my laptop resolution is 1920x1080 but with windows display scaling at 125% because it's a 15" laptop monitor and scaling to 100% makes a lot of things appear too small (and this is the windows "recommended" setting that it chooses by default). without changing anything, using a browser or emby theater, all my emby libraries appear in a single scrolling row and it's very annoying as I have a lot of libraries and have to scroll a long way to see them all. it also means I have a lot of empty space on my home screen as I'm not interested in putting "latest media" or "recordings" or any of those other views on my home screen, I just use "my media" but it appears as just a single long scrolling row of libraries at the top of the page, and like three-quarters of the page is the empty space below it I can turn windows display scaling back to 100% and then the libraries all appear neatly on a grid, filling the page the way I want it, but then everything else in windows is a bit too small to be usable so this isn't much of a solution (and I don't really want to have to change display scaling settings every time I open Emby) if I use a browser I can zoom the page to 90% and this also makes the libraries appear neatly on a grid. but my preferred interface is emby theater, it's quicker and smoother to open theater than it is opening a browser, opening a bookmark, going full screen, etc, but I can't zoom the page to 90% in emby theater like I can in a browser I understand the use of the scrolling row for really small interfaces but I think the decision for what size interface counts as "too small" is clearly way off if it's deciding that a 15" laptop screen on default settings is too small to put things on a grid, because even though it's scaled 125% it still leaves me with a mostly empty home screen with a single scrolling row across the top. realistically I think whatever resolution is being decided as being "too small" could probably be reduced by quite a lot because even if I set dispaly scaling to 150% I still have a lot of empty space beneath the single scrolling row of libraries, and the grid view would still be a lot better
Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 Yes zooming or specific resolutions affects the min-width set value. @media (pointer: fine) and (min-width:100em) { .itemsContainer-finepointerwrap { -webkit-flex-wrap:wrap; flex-wrap: wrap } .itemsContainer-finepointerwrap.itemsContainer-sideFooters:not(.virtualItemsContainer) { -webkit-flex-direction: row; flex-direction: row; height: auto; max-height: initial } } You can adjust this with custom css for the web client but will not affect any other client.
