Spinning circle when trying to connect from Roku

Hi everyone. My problem is similar to many probably but unfortunately I have not been able to find an answer. Short story long I am trying to connect my Roku. Everything works well on my PC, but when I try to connect through the Roku all I get is that spinning circle. Now I used to have Emby on a different PC but it crashed and died recently so I created a new username and in past have never used connect...I have always managed to get it working through adding the server.

 

My problem today is that manually adding the server wasn't working so I thought I would use connect and have gotten as far as being able to see the server on the roku but when trying to connect to said server I just get the spinning circle.

 

Sigh, any help would be appreciated. Have used Emby for years and love it so very frustrated right now.

Hi.  What is the name of your Roku device?  If it has any non-English characters in it, try removing them.

Hi ebr. Thanks for replying. It is the Roku remote streaming stick 3600 I believe. All characters are in english.

What version of the Roku app do you have? What version of Emby Server?

Hi Luke. The Roku software version is 9.2.0 build 4804-24. Model is 3600X Roku stick.

Emby server for the TV which is where it doesn't work is 3.0.212. Emby server on PC is 4.4.2.0
