Hello,

Can someone please assist with my issue. Whenever I reboot my xTeVe server which is running on Windows OS the IP Address changes in xTeVe.

How can I make that xTeVe IP address to stay the same?

And when it does change I have to update my EPG XML and my IP DVR to Emby.

Please advise.

Thank You,

You need to assign a static mapping for your xteve server on your router so that it gets the same up address every time it boots up. You will do this by specifying the MAC address of the pc and a required IP address in the router

It will be called a DHCP reservation.

Hello,

After adding the IP address in DHCP reservation in my router. I did a test and reboot my computer the DVR IP Address xTeVe still changing to different IP address.

I rebooted my router to see if this work still having the same issue.

I've also tried setting up static IP Address on my PC still changing in xTeVe.

Can you show screenshots of your router / pc static ip config?

I've had something like this happen before when I try to reserve an address that's already in use by a device. Some routers are better about it than others, but you often don't even get a warning.

Is it working for your iPad?

ETA: Also... why do you need a static IP for an iPad?  Just curious.
