Library Scan Not Finding New Content or Detecting Renames

I've been having this issue a while, the automatic (or manual) library scans don't detect any new content or renames any longer. I'm running Windows 10 Pro 1909. I've attached the log file with debug enabled to help. I had a look through it myself to see if I could see anything - Emby seems to not have detected a series of file renames from a few weeks back which is generating a load of errors, my guess would be that these errors cause the rescan to fail and nothing updates as a consequence. The Star Trek DS9 and Voyager errors in the log stand out as they've been renamed to the format seen in the attahced html.

 

My naming scheme is pretty simple - I've attached a html to show the files on the HDD as an example. 

 

What I've tried:

 - Total uninstall/reinstall of Emby server, including deleting all Libraries and creating new Libraries. All this achieves is I get an accurate Library again after install/initial scan but any changes thereafter aren't detected.

 - Added .ignore files to any directories I could think of with unusual files that might trip up Emby.

 

No joy with any of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

are the hard drives local to your emby server?  If not, that's why.

All local hard drives on the machine with the Emby server running, 3 Internal and 2 External.

The primary issue of using the Root of any drive are the hidden/system files that are created on that drive.  It is not recommended.

	System.UnauthorizedAccessException: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'E:\Recovery' is denied.

You can see it cascading through E and F drive.  Basically locking Emby out of the entire drive.

 

Please use subfolder on the drive.
