Actor List Cut Off?

Is the list of actors in a movie being arbitrarily cut off for some reason? I go through great pains to make sure the list of actors in a movie is complete before I load it in to Emby, but since upgrading the server I am noticing that the list is getting cut from display after 32? The actors are still searchable and show as being credited in the metadata if you look at their profile/entry, just not in the entry itself if they are listed at #33 or higher. This needs to be corrected to show the full list.

I have on a few occasions seen on an actor's page that they were in one of the films I have, clicked on it, and been unable to find them. So yes, the display is evidently being cut off after some threshold.

There currently is no horizontal scroll section that will display everything.  As you have noticed there is a scroller hard limit in every scroll section.

Yes, just noticed this new limit. I have arranged all of my metadata to put the writers at the end, and I would scroll to the end to see the writers, so the biggest problem for me is that I can never see the writers.

Unlike nappysolo I'm not worried about the writers, but it is definitely cutting off a large number of actors. For example, Avengers: Endgame has a cast of HUNDREDS but it is cut off from displaying them. That cutoff on the scroll needs to be removed so the full cast list can be seen.

I get limiting the movie scroller under Suggestions, but you identified a line specifically relating to people and that is what this thread was started about. That list should be unlimited scrolling. Even better than a horizontal scroller for people would be a column list of people/actors with card information. Something like this maybe with 2 or 3 columns (depending on display width):

I was just about to ask it, noticing this while i'm refreshing metadata for my anime library.

While metadata providers for movies and tv shows are almost perfect, in the anime side there are still problems, with many actors not recognized that you have to manually identify and sometimes they are sorted casually, so now it happens we even have main cast actors not showed (casually listed after #32 slot).

 

Maybe would be nice to add an option to let everyone select the limit of shown entries, but would even be better to let users manually sort the list, so if we have a fixed limit we could still move and swap actors on the fly.
