Screensaver Still Not Disengaging

The screensaver option on Emby Theater is still not disengaging when being told to play something via another app (i.e. the web console). I had selected the "Photo Screensaver" in the Display options and let it start and cycle through a few images then tried to play a movie. The movie started playing under the screensaver and the only way I could get it back was to take over the PC, force ET to close, then restart it. Even moving the mouse around in a VNC session would not disengage the screensaver.
