mcoyle76 2 Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 Is there away to lock out when a metadata refresh is done that it does not change the album artwork back to the musicbrainz album art? I went through all of my albums, and updated the images to the fan art , and now checking some of them they have been changed back to the musicbrainz artwork. I turned off the metadata refresh after so many days on the library.

mcoyle76 2 Posted April 13, 2020 Author Posted April 13, 2020 Well that's what I thought, so I wonder why they got changed, I didn't run any metadata refreshes, and I turned off the automatic metadata refresh on the library. When the Automatically refresh metadata from the internet happens does it change the album artwork, or does it just search for missing metadata? I also noticed when I update the album artwork that it doesn't update the artwork in any of the playlist either, so the library has the updated artwork, and the song in the playlist still has the old one.

Before the image was 600 x 600 that's what was pulled from the internet. I then changed it to 1000 x 1000 from fan art, and I did this about 2 weeks ago. I went back, and checked, and it was back to 600 x 600. Now the art work is saved in the albums folder from fan art. By having the images stored in the albums folder will the album now use that image that is saved, instead of pulling one from the internet?
