I am trying to create a clone of my library. However the intial scan on new server seems to delete everything and restart.

I use the same metadata and library

 

I keep the same data, Metadata root and cache folder

 

in data I remove everything but library.db

 

however when I install this emby on a new server with the same library paths

 

It doesnt just resume the scan and only update new items it deletes everything and restarts

 

How can ensure I can properly migrate my library with all the metadata intact

Hi, it doesn't quite work that way. You'll need to do a full scan to repopulate the database.
