Weird black screen problem with mobile device

First of all, emby usually works flawlessly with all my other content/devices.

Here's the problem: when I try to watch a certain show on my phone (Huawei p30 pro if it helps) the entire screen goes black and the app sort of crashes, forcing me to relaunch. All of my other folks/ shows work fine on the phone and surprisingly the show that doesn't work on mobile world perfectly when played on desktop.

 

Any help with this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

And it's only certain shows? What is the difference between the shows that this happens for vs the ones that it doesn't?

The only difference I can think of is that maybe the subtitle tracks are in a different format, I have other shows in the same video format that work.

And also the one that doesn't work uses flac audio

I tried it again but this time using a VPN and it somehow worked!

 

but still doesn't work on normal WiFi, this is very strange.
