ServerWMC - Live TV and guide data broken

Hi,

 

My Emby setup has been working with no issues for many months, either since the 4.4.2.0 update a few days ago or my emby premiere monthly subscription stopped (as i've now upgraded to lifetime membership), the guide data, all channels from live TV have gone.

 

I have attached screenshots to show my previously working setup, and have attached all logs. In summary my working setup for live TV and guide data has been:
WMC > Server WMC > Emby WMC plugin

 

To try to fix, I have reinstalled the Emby WMC plugin, I have also removed from Emby the 2 Haupage tuners and added back again. Its worth noting I've searched the ServerWMC logs and there no errors. It seems to be the issue is communication between ServerWMC and the Emby WMC plugin, or between this plugin and Emby.

Does server wmc even have access to guide data anymore? I thought wmc was no longer providing it

It does using EPG123 / Schedules Direct.

I'm pretty positive we have had this discussion before so we might as well merge your topics.

 

You cannot mix the native serverwmc guide with the native emby tuners.

 

You need to do one of the following: remove server wmc and setup emby guide data.

 

Or remove the emby tuners and setup the tuners in serverwmc.

If that was directed to me, I was merely responding to your statement "I thought wmc was no longer providing it". Thanks to EPG123 & an SD subscription, WMC remains a viable stand-alone DVR solution & up to the last stable release, guide data was successfully imported via the SWMC interface,.Haven't tested latest/greatest. 

 

It was unclear to me (at 1st read) that the OP was expecting to "mix the native serverwmc guide with the native emby tuners". I see that now. Sorry.

No it's to Medford. You can see in his screenshot he added two emby tuners but did not setup guide data. The server wmc plugin isn't going to fill that in.

I haven't touched any config since I posted. left it 24hrs and now all the guide data is back, live TV's working, Server WMC's status page is showing all channels and EPG entries pushed through to Emby. 

 

I actually think its my emby premiere monthly subscription stopping on the 8/4/20, but on the Emby server 'premier' screen it still showed as I had a subscription. Yesterday I purchased the lifetime membership and 24hrs later its all working again.

 

FYI to d00zah & yourself, im in Australia and all EPG guide data is sent over the air for free, WMC picks this up and sends via Server WMC to Embys guide.

 

Luke, I do have the 2 emby tuners in there, everything seems to be working so I kinda dont wanna remove them in fear of something breaking. "if it aint broke, dont fix it"

The emby tuners will not pull guide data from serverwmc. They will continue to show blank epg data unless you setup emby guide data as well.
