Hi ebr,

when I select my music collection in the web app it shows me several rows like "new music" and so on. One of this rows contains my favourites (Pic 1) and if I select this row I get a list of all files in this category and a option to play all songs in it (pic 2). I use this very often and it would be nice to have it at andorid TV, too.

thx.

I cannot read the title - are those favorite songs or albums?

I'm bringing this up from the grave :)

I also play all my favorite songs pretty often on the web app, but I cannot find a way to do it on the Android TV app. The workaround I found is to regularly generate a named playlist off a "Shuffle" action on the favs but it's limited to 300 items so it's not ideal.

Thanks!

Hi.  Can you try sideloading our standard android app on the same device and see how that compares?

Thanks.

Can you not just filter using the 'Heart' Icon on the right hand icons - and then shuffle from there ?

I just did it an indeed I find the "shuffle favorite" function and it works kinda fine! Thanks. I think I prefer it rather than the Android TV app.

There is a problem though, I can only see 1 item in the playlist. If I quit the app on the TV (still playing the audio) and relaunch it, then I can see the whole playlist on the TV.

If I remote connect from my phone app to the TV app, and click the currently playing items, I can only see 1 item too. If I relaunch the phone app and remote connect again, I still see 1 item. If the next song plays on the TV, I still see the first song on the phone like it's stuck.

Also, remote control seems to randomly stop the playback on the TV.

I'll attach logs later this weekend. I think the main problem would be the 1-item playlist.

Thank you for your time.

Perhaps you only played one item?

Unfortunately no, it was following the click on the "Shuffle" button on my favorites

OK we'll take a look at it. Thanks.

NB: on the sideloaded app on the TV, the playlist fills up automatically after the first song ends.
