groenator 13 Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 (edited) A while ago I open a post about seeing stretchy TV Logos, this problem got fixed. Now, within the Latest Photos category I see stretchy photos. The photos taken in the portrait view are the ones affected by it. Hopefully, there are plans to fix this issue. Luke 42078 Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 Hi there, can you show a screenshot example? How does the web app compare?
groenator 13 Posted April 12, 2020 Author Posted April 12, 2020 (edited) Below is a screenshot from my Android TV (Beta) app - The other screenshot is from my web server, as you can see the photos look blurry here. This just started after I update it the server to the latest version. I think photos taken in the portrait view are affected, before I mentioned that was landscape view, I was mistaken, sorry about that. Edited April 12, 2020 by groenator
ebr 16176 Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 Those photos are actually portrait, not landscape, correct? I think this may already be addressed in the current beta as I'm getting proper aspect display in my test system right now...
groenator 13 Posted April 12, 2020 Author Posted April 12, 2020 Thats correct, only the portrait photos have this issue.
groenator 13 Posted April 12, 2020 Author Posted April 12, 2020 Awesome! I am glad it was already marked as an issue, in that case I'll wait for your fix Apologise for duplicating the post.
ebr 16176 Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 Wait, you said you are already running the beta? What is the version of your app? My latest home videos and photos row shows my photos properly in their aspect ratio and I have some wild aspects in there.
ebr 16176 Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 I'm not sure what the difference is. If you go into the library, do the images show their proper aspect?
groenator 13 Posted April 13, 2020 Author Posted April 13, 2020 Hey buddy, I took new photos in portrait move and they look good now. Not sure why the others where showing stretchy. Thanks for your help!
