Update notices in dashboard (running as service)

I run my Emby Server as a service, which means no automatic reboots / updates.

 

So frequently, it's got a pending update.  As of right now that means that MovieDB is pending an update to 1.3.2.

 

The problem is I'm also running 4.4.1.0 (aka one version behind).  Once one component is updated, I stop getting any information in the dashboard about potential other updates.

 

Is there any way that it could still check for updates and display a notice of it, even when it's pending a restart for other updates?
