Emby will not start – Discovered around 03/28/2020

Hi All,

 

After a reboot I attempted to start Emby using my standard shortcut and never saw the taskbar Emby icon pop up.  Looking through the running programs also revealed the app not running.  I made no system changes (that I am aware of) but obviously something changed.  My guess is a .NET related error causing Emby not to start based on the info I provided below although I’m turning to the experts for that validation and rementy.

 

Let me know where to start and if further information is required for diagnosis.

Hi, I would suggest shutting down emby server, then installing the latest version from the website on top of your existing version and see if that helps.
