bp Media 0 Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 Hi All, After a reboot I attempted to start Emby using my standard shortcut and never saw the taskbar Emby icon pop up. Looking through the running programs also revealed the app not running. I made no system changes (that I am aware of) but obviously something changed. My guess is a .NET related error causing Emby not to start based on the info I provided below although I’m turning to the experts for that validation and rementy. Let me know where to start and if further information is required for diagnosis. Thanks All. System Windows 10, Fully Patched Emby Log is attached: Checking Windows Application logs showed the following (3) errors: .NET Runtime, Event ID 1026 Application: EmbyServer.exe CoreCLR Version: 4.700.20.6602 .NET Core Version: 3.1.2 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. Luke 42085 Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 Hi, I would suggest shutting down emby server, then installing the latest version from the website on top of your existing version and see if that helps.
bp Media 0 Posted April 9, 2020 Author Posted April 9, 2020 Hi Admin, Will this process retain all my current settings, movie pointers & metadata? -Thx
