I'm having trouble setting up an outside connection with emby I got my SSL certificate thru name cheap and my domain name now trying to setup cloudflare dns records and confused which one or do I setup A record or all if them any advise would be much appreciated

Cloudflare needs an A record.

so Content / IP address will be your WAN IP - https://www.whatsmyip.org/

Name - can be anything. ddns or cf or A.

TTL - auto or lowest setting.

 

a quick test then enter the Name followed by your domain name - http://ddns.mydomain.com or http://cf.mydomain.com

What ever the first block is on your NGINX config should now be displayed.

If not test it with IP - http://**IP**

if that doesnt work then ports arent open on your router. 443 and 80 need to forward to your NGINX server.

ye l had to move hosts and at the same time changed the back end. will see if i can find the images.
