Unable to see onscreen play/stop/ffw/rev or -X etc

I have Emby theater running on 2 separate PCs connected to a separate server.

The server and both PCs are running on the latest software.

Playing  video directly from the server in the Browser (Chrome or edge)  there is no issue.

Playing Video on one of the PCs there is no issue

On one of the PCs there is an issue when the video starts to play.

The controls are not visible. All that can be seen is the black letterbox bars above and below the video.

However,

The controls are there but you cannot see them. If you move the mouse around it changes the pointer and you can click the control. You cannot see FFWD, RRWD, Play, Minimise, expand, close window , full screen or the play bar showing time of video played.

 

All settings are exactly the same on both PCs.

I have uninstalled Theater, cleared down the cache and the hidden files in User/roaming app areas.

Still no luck getting the video controls back.

 

I thought it may be a windows theme issue, or a browser theme issue and these I have changed back to default  and still no joy.

Yes we're building a new windows app but in the meantime you can workaround the issue by doing this:
