SuperMinecraftKid 5 Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 My emby server has been sitting on an update for more than 2 days, but never restarted automatically with no active streams, especially from 3am to 7am I highly doubt anyone is using it. I noticed that at the checkbox under Settings > Allow the server to restart automatically to apply updates, it says "The server will only restart during idle periods, when no users are active." What is the definition of an active user in this sense?

Luke 42083 Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 Hi there, it takes time. All users have to be idle for at least 30 minutes. You can always restart manually if that's not the case.

hstorey219 0 Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 Hmm, I think it is because DLNA is turn on and Audio receiver is asking to steam. Interesting. That will cause active steaming? I shut off DLNA to see if that fixes it
