People Folder

I tried to backup the people information and transfer to other place, but the plugin askes me to input the path.

 

I look at the dashboard: C:\Users\Unknown\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\metadata

My people folder isnt there.

 

The path isnt show when I edit the people either.

 

Another forum post suggests the path "programdata\metadata\People" and it doesnt hit the spot as well.

 

How can I find it?

The plugin is asking for a place to backup to, not where are they now.  But they all exist in the \metadata\library\xx\xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx databaseid folders.

 

The plugin reads the database and exports the metadata and said image to a location of your choosing.

I entered the destination folder and pressed "Run Full Backup of People". It shows "Backup of People successfully finished"

However, nothing showed in the directory set. Is that I done something wrong? I assume the "people" is the manual meta input for actors right?

I am a little bit confused. Does it mean we backup the people's text info from the People Backup, and we manual backup the images at \metadata\library\xx\xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx folder?

The plugin will only backup people that either have pre-downloaded images or have metadata (description, birth date or location).

If it doesn't work, enable logging in the plugin, try it again and attach the Emby log here.
