Happy2Play 9780 Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 I was struggling to figure out why i could not see the extras for a movie. I had followed your naming conventions but still no luck. I finally tried removing a second version of the movie stored in the same folder, re-scanned and now it shows up. Below is the structure: /movies-kids/ /The Goonies (1985)/ The Goonies (1985) - 1080p.mkv The Goonies (1985) - 1080p Video Commentary.mkv /Extras/ Deleted Features.mkv The file i removed was The Goonies (1985) - 1080p Video Commentary.mkv and it worked. Merged topics, know issue resolved in 4.5.0.6 beta.
sentience 1 Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 I'm trying to add some extras for a movie to my library for the first time, but Emby Server isn't seeing the 'extras' subdirectory I've created. I've rescanned my library files, and run "replace metadata" multiple times with debug logging enabled. The file in the 'extras' folder doesn't appear in the logs at all. The word 'extras' doesn't appear in the logs at all. The permissions on the 'extras' folder are the same as the parent folder, which Emby has no trouble reading. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?
lorac 118 Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 I believe there's currently a bug regarding extras and multiple movies. Try removing one of the movies and see if that helps. Also search extras and I'm sure you'll find more threads with this same error. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk

Bigmack3000 107 Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 I saw in the release notes that this problem was fixed with the latest update. I've installed the update, so now how do I fix those affected movies? I scanned for missing data, but it didn't resolve it. Do I have to comb through all the multi version films, remove them, and re add them?
Bigmack3000 107 Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 That wasn't working either but it's fixed now. For some reason the restart after the update didn't take well, so I had to force stop it from the synology. Now all looks good.
Bigmack3000 107 Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 Do you know if this fix also addresses this issue?
