HTPC Emby IPTV works in browser but not in Windows Theater

Hello. I am a very new user.. started today. Have a lifeftime purchase of Emby prem. now but have having issues getting started. I got the server up and running.. i think. I can stream my IPTV to the browser interface fine. For some reason i cant get the theater to work. I keep getting a 

 

"typererror cannot read property 'toString' or undefined

 

each time i select a channel. 

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

When using Embly Theater, if i select a channel or show on the guide (or channel list) its a widows pop up window

Did you setup an external player?

hmm.. like mpc-be or vlc or something? no not that im aware of.. i didnt see where i could.. I have Kodi set to launch MPC-BE for 4k stuff.. would love to with Emby.. i really just ran through the standard Theater setup and server set up.. added my tuner for M3U and the EPG info.

oh wait.. i did.. that was it.. i guess i tried to set the iptv stream as an external viewer before i got it in the right spot.. that did it.. thanks..
