why were collections changed?

okay I did try to find this but came up empty so I'll ask here

why were collections changed?

they used to be sorted into their type and I preferred this 

having it like below

 

movies

Star Wars A new Hope>Empire Strikes Back>Return of the Jedi

series

The Clone Wars > The Mandalorian

 

is there a way to get this back without installing an older version
