oceanclub 12 Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 (edited) I haven't seen any issues with playing movies since I got Emby in December, but in the past week or two I'm seeing visible stuttering on _some_ movies. When I check "stats for nerds", they are being directly played with no dropped frames, etc. They tend to be small files (<2GB) being streamed from a desktop (Windows 7 64 bit) over Ethernet, so I don't think file size is the issue. When I play them on the desktop using VLC, they look fine.I've compared the files affected against files that aren't and I can't see any major differences - they are files of type HEVC using AAC LC audio, the same as files which play fine. Has anyone else notices an issue like this lately? Paul Edited April 2, 2020 by oceanclub

Sorry for the delay in responding, I actually think the issue is exactly as described over in this thread for particular files for the Infuse player: https://firecore.com/forum/topic/24816 P.
Luke 42077 Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 That would make sense as we're both probably using the platform video player (from microsoft).
