Suggestions on Home Screen

Hello guys,

 

is it possible to have the suggestions in a movie library on the home screen?

I just found it out and think it could help a lot of people finding a movie they like.

Hi.  There are already feature requests for things like this.  I believe most of them will be covered when we are able to create smart playlists/views.

Hi, I think you'll be able to do this in the future with smart views/playlists.

One of the main things i miss about plex is how nice the homescreen was.
Love Emby but the home screen is so BLAH.

You can liven it up with a bit of css though.

Latest news from @Lukesuggests 4.9 has smartplaylists and hopefully that translates into home screen views/row options.     If it doesn't, then it will likely not add any significant functionality beyond what the Smartplay list plugin already does.

only for browsers, i use emby on my roku stick primarily.
