Hey, after latest server update to emby, running on a qnap - All movies posters is downloaded in a very small thumbnail size, like 200x300.

As soon as you search manually, you will get the normal sized posters. That means I have to do this manually now.

Tvshows continues to do fine.

I also stated a language preference in movie library, as english - since I read another post, where you stated this could solve it. But no luck.

I'm confused as to how this size is possible, since none of the downloadable posters all have higher resolution.

Thanks.

Also, can I installed the former version of the server - which worked fine?

HI there, can you please go over an example? How have you configured your movie image fetchers for that library?

Hey, the open movie db was set as the first. I did a manual search and saw that the open movie db would show a weird image.

So now I've disabled that provider, and bumped up the one with most covers available.

But this only happened after the update of the server version.

@@Luke I don't use them, but has OMDB always had low resolution images?

They state "Currently over 280,000 posters, updated daily with resolutions up to 2000x3000." but all tests are around 200x300.

I can revert back to the former server, to check if it works there? For testing.

FYI, just tested on my 3.5.3.0 test system and get the same results.

Right this is related to the images coming from Omdb and not specific to the Emby server version.

What image fetchers are enabled for your movie library and in what order?

you asking happy or me?

I disabled the OMDB for movies. It was top.

I took whichever presented the most covers in manual search and put in top now.

Ok so that leaves you with MovieDd and Fanart. Both of them have nice high resolution images.
