MacLars 0 Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Hi I have just installed Emby (and it looks very promising for my needs). I have a setup where Emby is scanning locations like this /mnt/movies /mnt/tvseries And it works fine - but I have one file that it is not presenting to me in the user-interface - but if I search for it it is presented and I'm able to view it. Any ideas how to resolve that? (it has created an NFO-file, and also extracted a thumbnail, so it is definitely seeing it) The file is placed in tvseries folder (the only file that does not have a subdir in /mnt/tvseries - but in /mnt/movies there are several files that aren't in subfolders, and I'm able to browse those in Emby) Kind regards Lars
Solution PenkethBoy 2068 Posted March 30, 2020 Solution Posted March 30, 2020 tv series need to have a folder at least see the wiki on tv naming as a guide 1
MacLars 0 Posted March 30, 2020 Author Posted March 30, 2020 Thanks, I had a hunch it could be that, but I made a folder and copied the file to the folder, that didn't work. (probably because it was the exact same file as previously). So my solution was to copy the file to a different location and in Emby delete the existing item (after finding it via search). Then create a new folder in my tv-series folder and copy the file back. That did the trick ;-) Thanks again, kind regards Lars
