Music files - how to display technical info?

I found that emby is a very usefull music player beside my former focus on video material.

Expecially I love the possibility to stream my media to Sonos and other DLNA hardware.

 

Beside my historical collection of MP3 files I got more and more flac music files and even hires audio files during the last year.

 

When I browse my Fiona Joy Hawkins albums, I cannot distinguish between the 44/16 cd version and 96/24 hires version.

 

 

 

When I select one album, I would like to see the file format type (say mp3,aac,flac 44/16, 44/24, 96/24, dsf...) beside the song title.

maybe right padded to the time:

 

 

 

when browsing movies, I can find the technical details on the bottom 

 

 

 

 

how can I get similar info on the music files?

It is really missing all the more since it would not take much for the Android reader to be perfect.

And you can put the volume under the track with a big round ball as on the progress of the track and at the ends a key - and a key +.

And for finish, if it's possible look iso video I buy this application.

Consider this a +1 on the request for the format, bit depth and sampling rate information on music files. Oh, and also, the number of channels.

comeon guys, my initial question is now slightly more than 3 years old.

do not bother the emby team by asking every 6 months for an update....
