User role - browse libraries, no streaming

There are times when I open Emby - often on a mobile device, or on my laptop but away from home, with no intention of actually watching anything, but simply to show someone what's on my server.  I've wanted this when preparing for a road trip, to plan media for a portable mini-library on a laptop.  I've wished I had it when planning movie nights with friends.  Etc.

 

It happens often enough that I find myself wishing I could just give others access to a user account that can browse my library without being able to stream.  Or even better, a role where I can define browsing rights and streaming rights separately, and for each library.

 

I'm posting for three reasons:

• I'm curious if there's a way to do this now; maybe a setting I'm missing, or a plugin I'm not aware of
• I'm curious if anyone else has this need
• Obviously, it'd be wonderful if the devs added this if others have this need and there's no solution now

There's an option for this in the user permissions.
