Gcoombs 0 Posted March 23, 2020 Posted March 23, 2020 With new version 4.4.0.40, I'm getting no scrolling of any kind on my Win 10 desktop. Not in Chrome. Not in Edge. Am I missing something?
Luke 42083 Posted March 23, 2020 Posted March 23, 2020 Hi there, can you please explain what "no scrolling" means? Thanks !
Gcoombs 0 Posted March 23, 2020 Author Posted March 23, 2020 Sure. UpArrow, DownArrow, PageUp and PageDown keys don't do anything in either user app or server dashboard. For example, in a screen of all movies, the only way I can get to movies that aren't displayed is by using the scroll bars or the individual letter icons. Or, when selecting "Edit Metadata" for a particular movies, I can only scroll down using the scroll bar, not arrow keys or PgUp/PgDn
Happy2Play 9783 Posted March 23, 2020 Posted March 23, 2020 So keyboard controls, which technically a totally different subject as you have virtual scrolling via scrollbars or mouse wheel.
Gcoombs 0 Posted March 23, 2020 Author Posted March 23, 2020 All I have is a touchpad. I haven't been able to get it to do anything
Luke 42083 Posted March 23, 2020 Posted March 23, 2020 Are you able to use the touchpad with the scrollbars?
Gcoombs 0 Posted March 23, 2020 Author Posted March 23, 2020 Connecting a mouse (trackball) also doesn't do anything.
Gcoombs 0 Posted March 23, 2020 Author Posted March 23, 2020 Yes, I can use the touchpad with the scrollbars in the conventional manner.
Gcoombs 0 Posted March 24, 2020 Author Posted March 24, 2020 I tested from another Windows 10 laptop. Scrolling works just fine, with arrow keys and PgUp/PgDn keys working as they always have. Server was accessed via the LAN.
Gcoombs 0 Posted March 24, 2020 Author Posted March 24, 2020 It might for you to know that these same navigation keys work the same as they always have when viewing any web page via either of the aforementioned browsers. The problem is clearly within Emby - or something at doing wrong within Emby.
