Advice on other users on my Emby servers - should they all use Emby Connect?

Hi guys
I have two Emby servers (my main one and my movie archive) plus one at my mums and one at my sisters (on old HP Microservers). They're all linked to my Emby Premier account, but I'm not sure how best to set up user accounts on them.

Ideally, I want my mum and sis to be able to log in either at mine or theirs and be able to access all the servers, so presumably local accounts are no good for that. Do they each need to set up an Emby Connect account with their own email addresses and me add them? Or do I create the users on one server and link them all to my Emby COnnect name and they all can access all servers?

I'm a bit confused by it all. With Plex all the users I created on one device can access all of the servers, and then I can then allow or block access to certain shares on each server, but I don't quite understand how it works with Emby.

Hope that makes sense!

Thanks

Hi, with multiple servers, this would be the preferred way.

But then would they all need Emby Premier to get all the access?

Hi.  No.  Premiere is tied to your server, not your users and is not related to Connect at all.

Ah, ok. So if each has an Emby Connect account and each of my server Premiere account I just need to create a user on each server for mum, sis and my daughter and add their Connect account to their username on each server?
