sfatula 207 Posted March 22, 2020 Posted March 22, 2020 Right now, looking at the TV Guide, here on KXII channel 12.1 in Sherman TX marketing area. Have had Survivor in the recording series list for years. On April 1, in the guide, it says "NEW". Yet, there is no red mark and the show does not show up on the schedule screen. Using Emby guide. On the series screen where the "timer" is, it doesn't even show the episode on the bottom. What causes this?

No idea what option you are speaking of. It can't already be in my library as it's new, so, that can't be it. No way an episode that is new can be in the library? If I remove the checkbox for don't record if already in library, no effect. Edited March 23, 2020 by sfatula
Luke 42079 Posted March 23, 2020 Posted March 23, 2020 It's not part of the same series. You can see that on the series screen how the episode isn't listed. Yes they're obviously both survivor, but they must have different series IDs in the guide data.
