Hello,

Do you need more logs?

I have tested and with version 4.4.0.40 but result is the same - no sound.

In exactly what situation?

You posted three ffmpeg logs and said the issue was with DTS-HD audio.  But two of those logs indicate an item with mp3 audio.

The one with DTS was being played from FireFox.  Is it only the DTS one played through the web app that is the problem?  Have you tried a different browser?

When i play the file with DTS-HD on NVIDIA TV Emby client there is no sound.

There is no problem when i play it on FireFox on PC.

Does the audio system support DTS-HD?

If you un-check the option in the playback settings to allow pass through of DTS-HD do you get sound then?

I have un-check the option in the playback settings to allow pass through of DTS Pass-thru and there is a sound.

When i un-check DTS-HD - there is no sound.

I am using Sonos beam + 2 x sonos play1 speakers

Okay.  That soundbar can support DTS apparently but not DTS HD.  Which is why that option is there.

So you are good now?

I mean that there ate two options about DTS:

 1. Allow DTS Pass-thru

 2. Enable DTS-HD  Pass-thru

When i un-check first option only (Allow DTS Pass-thru) there is sound.

What happens if you leave the first one checked and uncheck just the second one?

There is no sound with just the second one unchecked  - i think that this means that Sonos doesn't support DTS

Yes, but that also means something in the system is reporting that it does when it actually doesn't.  In any case, unchecking the option(s) should get you going.

Thanks.

Ok - i have unchecked Allow DTS Pass-thru and now will search for DTS 5.1. to AC3 5.1 converter.

Just one question - is Emby LG client capable to trans-code DTS-HD 5.1 to DD 5.1?

I have found similar thread here:

Not at this time but an option for that is certainly possible for the future. thanks.

The Sonos owners will appreciate if you can include this option in some beta for test.

No Sonos devices support DTS, only DD.

I have a Sonos Beam and any time I playback a video with DTS or EAC3, then the audio gets remuxed to DD.

It works very well, with limited load on the server and excellent audio.

When we can expect this option to be available?

I don't have an ETA but we're working as hard as we can. Thanks.
