"This site can’t be reached" all of the sudden

Hello!

 

My QNAP TS-251A got a new IP for reason.  Since then, I can't access my Emby server.  I am accessing it thru https://<hostname>:8920.  I immediately get a "This site can’t be reached" error on Chrome.  What can I do to fix it??  Thank you!

Hi, can you try it over your local ip using port 8096?

8096 is is not https port unless you changed things.

Yes, I can access it now!  Weird!  So for some reason, the new IP setting in QNAP broken SSL?

No, I don't think so. Have you even setup SSL with your Emby Server?

Man, now I have to reset everything because I did a uninstall/reinstall since I read somewhere that said it would fix it.

There's nothing we can do about that unfortunately. In order for the https url to work you'll need to setup SSL.
