I've tried making changes in a test console app to the firewall with Network operator status, but I wasn't able to get it working. For me emby is proxied behind caddy server. Which might be a better situation then facing emby directly to the DNS. Perhaps I had better add a warning to the top of the plugin configuration explaining the possible issues with facing emby directly with elevated rights? The good news is that embys cryptography for the login is good.
PenkethBoy 2068 Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 just a thought - but the fact you cant elevate the process to admin level - is actually good - as this would be a security feature of windows to prevent rouge code doing stuff its not got access to etc
