As I have tons of custom .nfo files from a Kodi migration I want to reuse them. However, as I don't want my drives to spin up when accessing metadata and the cache currently can't hold it all,  as a temporary work around, would it be possible to disable the .nfo metadata so that a metadata database gets created on my SSD that scraps the pre-existing metadata from my .nfo files?

Or would the .nfo files be ignored?
