Luke 42078 Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 If you change it to 25, the filter will work. I don't really have a better answer for you. There is no way for the server to know that these are the same episodes.
troyhough 61 Posted March 16, 2020 Author Posted March 16, 2020 We use the same source that they do. Ok thanks for the info.

So this is scheduled to record on Emby: Arthur - Season 1 2. Arthur and the Real Mr. Ratburn; Arthur's Spelling Trubble If I check the TVDB: https://www.thetvdb.com/series/arthur/seasons/official/1 It's listed as S01E03. Wouldn't the discrepancy change every episode number in the whole season because of this?
Luke 42078 Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 What it means is that if you enable tvdb metadata for your recordings library, then you might get metadata for the wrong episode. You'd end up with whatever they have as season 1 episode 2, so that means a new title, description, etc. But the season and episode numbers would stay the same, so the dvr would not record another season 1 episode 2.

So do you suggest I turn off Metadata? Or specifically, TVDB Metadata? Here is another example: Pinkalicious & Peterrific - Season 1 36. Drawing Noses; Pinkalicious on Ice This is listed as a recording coming up. I have it in the library as S01E55 and TVDB has it listed as S01E72: https://thetvdb.com/series/342357/seasons/official/1
Luke 42078 Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 I would probably suggest that for episodes, yes, but of course that's up to you. You can leave fetchers on at the series and season levels though.
