Just installed emby on android v10.0 tv box and my icons, guide, images are HUGE. Only 3 guide lines per page, covering the icons. Everything is just huge and falling off the bottom of the page even. Cant find a setting to fix it. Tried setting box to 1080 vs 4k, no luck.

You just know this is NOT going to be an Android TV box.

Its going to be a chinese box with a butchered mobile phone rom.

Yeah, the OS it is running I'm sure is not at the proper DiP setting for a TV.  You would probably be better off finding a true Android TV rom to run on it.

Dang, it would be nice if there was a setting that could fix this? Other apps I use on here that aren't offered on the nvidia shield work well. Hard to justify buying those for every tv in the house..

Exactly where in the app (other than shown above) is this a problem?  Can you list them all?

In all probability, your device is rooted, therefore you can  change the DPI.

Tried using settings editor to edit ro.sf.lcd_density but it I get an error set edit does not currently support editing this table.

Also installed developer tools and can see the pictured screen dimensions.

DPi should be at least 240.  Is your device rooted?

Any recommendation on how to change it easily?

Which app did you try to change the "ro.sf.lcd_density" that gave you the error??  Make sure your device is rooted.  There are tons of DPI apps on the Aptoide store that will work, but you have to be rooted.

Been awhile since I had to change DPI, but I always just changed the build.prop setting manually.  Lately, I use X-plorer file browser, but you have to manually set it to R/W.

Finally got it changed. I got up to 265 dpi at 1920x1080 before my other android menus and apps became unusable by zooming in and falling off the screen. It's an ok fix as the sizing is better, but made my other apps odd now.
