aeleus 0 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I'm using MBC 3.0.187.0 6-20.1 with Server 3.0.5289.18702. The EHS screen is set to show "unwatched". It seems to be limited to twenty items. By that, I mean that if a TV series has more than twenty episodes unwatched, that's the only poster that shows up in the EHS. If I mark one of those episodes as watched (now there are 19 unwatched) a second poster appears on the EHS (BTW, I have to exit MBC to get it to refresh). Here is a sequence of screenshots: The show Quite Interesting has 20 (or more unwatched) episodes: The show Quite Interesting has 19 unwatched episodes: The show Quite Interesting has 18 unwatched episodes: And so on... The behavior is the same under Chocolate and Subdued themes.
ebr 16176 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 This is the way it is designed - although, with TV, it should be limiting to 50 by default, not 20. We limit this list - otherwise it could potentially contain the whole library.

I'd rather the EHS show the poster if there are any unwatched episodes. I don't really care how many episodes are unwatched for any particular show - just that there are some unwatched. As it is now, only one poster is displayed, and it will stay that way until the number of unwatched episodes to that show dips below the threshold. That may take a while. It makes the EHS much less useful. Thanks again.
Maleficarum 68 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 I would say display one per show and have an overlay with the number of episodes on rather than swarming the screen with a single show Sent from my C1505 using Tapatalk
ebr 16176 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 The limit makes sense in 90% of cases. That list is supposed to be a Recent list. If you want to navigate the entire content of that folder, you simply can navigate into it. You can actually change the limit if you are willing to edit the configuration xml yourself. The tags are RecentItemCount and RecentItemContainerCount. I may expose these in config at some point.
aeleus 0 Posted June 29, 2014 Author Posted June 29, 2014 I'd like to try it, but I can't find any xml or config file with those entries. Can you point me to the right one? Thanks
ebr 16176 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 %appdata%\MediaBrowser-Classic\Configurations\[username]-MediaBrowserXml.config
aeleus 0 Posted June 30, 2014 Author Posted June 30, 2014 %appdata%\MediaBrowser-Classic\Configurations\[username]-MediaBrowserXml.config Perfect! That solves my issue.
