Cannot access Emby Remotely

• New user. Emby server access works well on my local network. Using WinPC and iPad
• Unable to access Emby remotely
  • Using Ipad: Sign in Error, Invalid username and password. Please try again
  • Im setup for Emby connect. I have a remote WAN IP and Cloud above my username
  • Log file attached

I don't use Emby Connect. I prefer to connect through my personal domain name.

But I would assume Emby Connect still needs WAN port access.

You should start by following the steps in the knowledgebase for External Connectivity. Follow this link: https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001849007-connectivity. Read the section on in-network connections to make sure you haven't accidentally skipped something. Then External Connections would be your first step to getting logged in remotely.

 

Emby Connect is only meant to make it easier to find your server, but all the paths and ports should be open first.
