Emby Theater - video backdrops playing in foreground

So I have followed the format rules for my movie directories, ie. using a 'backdrops' subdirectory and a file named 'backdrop.mkv'. I also have a number of backdrop.jpg files in the main movie directory. The jpg backdrops appear as they should in the background but wherever I have a video backdrop for a movie, it plays in the foreground obscuring all else on the screen. This is on a fresh install of latest server and theater.

Yes, if I stop the backdrop from playing I then see the normal movie detail screen and can start the movie playing.

When you play the movie normally do you see the controls in the video player to pause ?

Well, that's interesting. I hadn't really noticed it till now but I used to see the controls overlay when I would press the 'down' directional key, but not anymore. The controls all work, pause, skip, stop, etc, but I don't see the overlay.

Thank you, that was my issue and the workaround did fix it.
