guardianali 12 Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 I have multiple drives on my Windows 10 PC and run the Emby program currently on drive letter D (the libraries are other drives). I want to move the program folder of Emby itself to drive letter F. Can i just cut and paste the install directory or do i need to do something specific?
Luke 42086 Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 Can i just cut and paste the install directory Hi, the answer is maybe. How long ago did you first install Emby Server? The older your installation is, the more trouble you're likely to have when attempting to do this. Newer versions can handle this much better, assuming that's the version you originally installed.

Its less than 6 months old. Plex was pissing me off and I installed it to test it and liked it and payed for it.
Happy2Play 9785 Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 In theory you should be fine. Only issues should be Emby-Server shortcuts.
