Emby crashes on UGOOS AM6 PLUS

I've just installed Emby on a new Ugoos AM6 Plus, when clicking on a user it hangs with a loading circle.

 

Is there a way to gather diagnostic info to find out why?

1) Which exact app did you install?

 

2) Does this device have a proper Android TV launcher?

I've unboxed it and installed Emby for Android TV 3.5 from the play store. 

The normal Android app works as expected no issues.

 

 

 

I've tried lanuching via the Ugoos Android TV Launcher, same issue.

Hi.  Yes, I can tell by the display that is not an Android TV device.  It is basically a phone hooked up to your TV.

 

The issue is probably related to the "Channels" that Android TV implements and we take advantage of but your device does not have.

Thanks - I just installed an Android TV ROM and it's working well.
