Q-Droid 989 Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 I tried a search to make sure this request wasn't a duplicate. If it is then please point me to the right thread. I find myself wanting to go straight to the Home page from different places in the app and having to hit "back" multiple times. Would it be reasonable to have a "tabs" menu on every screen (non-playback) and a Home button/icon on every "tabs" menu? Not sure if "tabs" is the correct terminology for the top row of the display. Thanks 1
Happy2Play 9780 Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 I would assume this would apply to all apps not just android, as I don't really like backing out of items either.
MBSki 1114 Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 On Android TV, if you hold down the back button it should take you straight back to the home page. I use it all the time for the exact reason you described. It would be nice though to have an option for other apps though. 2

I didn't know and yes, long press on "back" goes to the home page and with a short feedback message.

ebr 16182 Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Plus one for me... annoying clicking back through everything,... This is possible by holding down the back button. Android TV app - Home shortcut? - a way to quickly get back?
