Go to your dashboard page - scroll to bottom - click the api link

 

will open swagger

 

there you can play about with various options to return data from emby in json format - its working against your live data - so be careful you dont do a POST/DELETE unless you want to

 

Also read the API wiki to get some context and how to either authenticate by name or use an api_key to access your server from a script/app
