Emby realtime scan with rclone

Morning guys!

 

Am I missing a trick here? Real time scan of fuse type (rclone mounted) folders doesn't seem to work. Is there any setting in emby that can force this, or any script that I can use (like plex_autoscan) that can for it to do so?

fuse filesystems don't support inotify without a patched kernel (probably not something you want to get into).  maybe try this, which i found by searching the forums here https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/39804-real-time-monitoring-bash-script/

Thanks, I'm guessing that if it detects any change and if I point this to the root folder (e.g. /mnt/mounteddrive/) then it will execute a scan of the whole folder and not the path that has changed?
