Logos302 86 Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 For the last couple of version including 3.0.5289.18702 every time the server is stopped and then started it tells me there is a new version available.
Solution Happy2Play 9780 Posted June 26, 2014 Solution Posted June 26, 2014 This is a known issue when running MBS as a service. 1
Logos302 86 Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 I think it does as when not running as a service as well, but I will double check.
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Had something similar in the past. The update wasn't completing. To fix it, I had to download and install from this website. After that, the update finished properly.
Logos302 86 Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 being that I normally run it as a service I have to manually do it every time.
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 When running as a service, it isn't considered a bug. Basically they need to write another service to control the one for MediaBrowser.
Luke 42078 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Well, certain limitations of the service can only be resolved with a second controlling service. But this particular one seems like a bug.
